Smart lighting for Dubai villas

Lighting is the system a family uses most, every evening and in every room. Smart lighting turns dozens of switches into a few scenes that set a whole room at once, and looks after the outside of the villa on its own.

Scenes instead of switches

A scene sets several lights at once, at the right brightness and warmth: bright and even for cooking, warm and low for dinner, dim for a movie. One tap, one switch or one sentence to Luana sets the whole room.

Scenes can include curtains, climate and music too, so an evening scene can close the curtains and cool the living room at the same time.

What you can automate

Typical lighting in a NoorIQ villa covers:

  • Dimming and light colour in living areas and bedrooms
  • Scenes for each room and for the whole villa
  • Soft night lights for hallways and stairs
  • Garden, facade and pool lighting at sunset or on a schedule
  • Lights that switch off when everyone has left
  • Accent lighting and light strips in the majlis, media room and kitchen

Familiar switches stay

Smart lighting should not force anyone to use a phone. Wall switches keep working, and smart switches can trigger scenes. The app and Luana add control from anywhere, and schedules handle the rest.

In an existing villa

Most villas can get smart lighting without new wiring: compact modules behind existing switches, smart switches, and smart bulbs or strips where colour matters. We plan it room by room during the site visit.

Questions villa owners ask

Can I keep my existing light switches?

Yes. Existing switches can keep working with compact modules behind them, or be replaced by smart switches that also trigger scenes.

Can garden and pool lights run on a schedule?

Yes. Garden, facade and pool lights can follow sunset, a fixed schedule or a scene.

Do I need special bulbs?

Not necessarily. Many lights are controlled through modules behind the switches, so existing fittings stay. Smart bulbs or strips are added where colour or tuning is wanted.

What does smart lighting cost?

Lighting is usually part of a wider villa project. NoorIQ villa projects start from AED 10,000, with a written fixed-price proposal after a free consultation.
